Name: Samanntha Watkins
Age: 22
Date of Birth: December 4
Appearance: Sam is 5'5, with naturally curly brown hair that she likes to keep fairly long. Her eyes are hazel. She's got fair-skin with a light smattering of freckles. She's slender, and doesn't gain weight easily. While she was pregnant, she was small and after she had Ally, she lost what weight she'd acquired while she was pregnant.
She's got a butterfly tattoo on her right shoulderblade. She went and got it on her 17th birthday as a gift from Nick. She's got piercings in both of her ears, just once. But that is all of the piercings that she's got.
Her clothing style is not her own. She has to dress really elegant and classy all of the time because her husband demands it of her. Before her husband though, she used to wear jeans with holes in the knees, and such. She was more of a country-type girl who wore comfortable clothing. Now, she's never seen in anything like that. She's always seen in classy-looking blouses and dresses. Things that her husband buys and demands that she wears. Really expensive clothing that she actually doesn't like much.
Personality:
Sweet: She always puts other above herself. But this can be a really bad thing. She lets her husband beat her and walk all over her because she's too sweet. She doesn't have a backbone. She used to, but she doesn't even dare stand up to the guy.
Fun: She's a really fun person to be around. She's not as fun anymore because of what she has to deal with. But she used to be the life of the party when Nick was here.
Timid: Where once with Nick she could speak her mind and do whatever, now she's timid and shy and too afraid to speak up. She never ever says what she thinks. Her husband wants her to have his opinions anyway. He doesn't wish his wife to have opinions of her own.
Beaten: She appears to be beaten. Well, she hides it well in public, but it's how she feels. If it weren't for her daughter, she would have given up by now.
Strong: She doesn't know this, but she is strong. She has to be, for her daughter. Her daughter Ally is her whole entire world. She's an awesome mother.
Intelligent: She's very smart. She's got her own opinions on politics and things like that. Only problem is, she can't voice them. Her husband beats her if she has different opinions from his own.

Flaws:
*She doesn't defend herself at all. She thinks she deserves what she gets from Charles
*She's too timid and scared to leave the bad situation that she's in.
*The fact that she kept these huge secrets from Nick, because she thought she was doing him a favor. She didn't want to hold him back from following his dreams.
Family:
Father- Joseph 46: Recovering Alcoholic. Farmer
Mother- Deceased
Step-Mother: Sophia 40, homemaker. Has become a really steadying influence for both Sam and her father
Husband-Charles: Owns his late father's business. Extremely rich.
4-year-old daughter Ally:
History: Sam grew up in a really loving home. She was the only child. She grew up on a farm, and she loved it. She was always out there on the tractor with her father. She grew up with this guy named Nick. He was her best friend all of her life. He meant the world to her.
Once Junior High hit, both realized that the feelings they had were much more then friendly. They realized that they were in love. They started going out, and it was everything to both of them. They were so happy. You would hardly see one without the other. They grew up with Jack and Jamie. Jack and Jamie were also going out, and they were sure that they themselves would get married, along with Jamie and Jack.
But, Nick had always had dreams. Sam never wanted to get in the way of that. So, she had plans of putting the marriage off until Nick was done with school. But then, disaster struck. Sam's mother died not long after their high-school graduation. Nick came over to comfort her, and they ended up having unprotected sex. In a way, it was a wonderful experience. They loved each other. But, she had a feeling that she was pregnant right after it was done.
Not long after, she ended things with him. She ended things with him because she was sure that if she tied him down with a baby, and herself, he'd have a much harder time accomplishing his dreams. She didn't want to hold him back. So, she went to his house not long after the night her mom died, and told him that it was over. He didn't understand. He begged and pleaded with her not to do this. He told her to look him in the eye and tell him that she didn't love him anymore.
But, Sam had never been able to lie to him, so she couldn't tell him that she didn't love him anymore. She simply walked away with him shouting behind her, telling her to stop. She refused to see him when he kept trying to come see her.
Once she started seeing Charles, Nick left her alone, hurt and dismayed. He left town for college, while she married an abusive man. Everybody in town believes that Ally is Charles's baby, because she and Charles were married only a month after the night she slept with Nick.
So, she's in an abusive relationship, and her daughter Allison (Ally) is now four-years-old. She keeps tabs on Nick from Nick's parents who are still living in town. And she's glad to hear that Nick did get his degree. She's still in love with Nick, and actually regrets keeping his daughter from him. But now, she's sure that she can't do anything about it. She feels trapped in her marriage and her life. The only thing that keeps her going is Ally.
